Using an excavator to dig out stumps, loading saw mill logs, dragging in a shipping container, and trucking in gravel to make a new driveway.

Question for you. When removing a stump why not just flip it over and push the stump into the ground and leave the root structure exposed on the top? If you're covering it with visqueen and granite or slate wouldn't that prohibit growth? At the same time you'd be filling in the hole as well

I think it acts as a barrier to prevent the gravel sinking into the mud thereby saving money and avoid need to repave the driveway so often

Outstanding job all around! Great earth moving work, videography, drone and music stuff too. And I even learned something. My 14 y.o. boy and I are gonna take on our own 330' driveway challenge because of your inspiration and example. Thanks and congrats!

Probably should have dug up the soft soil and put in some hard clay, compacted, then road fabric then stone. It's way too spongy. Any will fall a part after a few rains and trucks drive on it.

Almost 60 mins long ... nothing but a guy with earthmoving equipment, doing a monotonous boring job? Fuck hell yeah, I know what I'm binge watching !!! I am truly shocked that I found this so fascinating - my theory is because : the guy doesn't solicit any viewership; is representative of the "ave joe"; doesn't waste any time about telling people how "wonderful" he is. He just carries on slogging !!!!

Doesn’t the gauge of that base stone puncture the road membrane, particularly the weight of the wagon delivering the stone? Or does the soft subsoil act as a cushion?

Nice way to bend your trailer not having it on a flat level surface. And the more I watch the more it seems you don't have a clue as to what you're doing.

If the trailer bends, its not made strong enough. That trailer is not going to bend.
