How about reinforced concrete? Comparing different bits, brands and also a bonus section for the top 3 finishers to battle for top spot with (traditional rebar enforced) concrete and (epoxy coated rebar enforced) concrete. That would be a interesting test for the bits I’m sure. On my current job site we have been going through rebar cutter bits daily. Mostly from human error though. But Project Farm is the best thing I know that can eliminate “human error” flaws from tool test comparisons! Please consider. Aloha!

I've been watching your videos comparing bits and drivers for a little now while just to get an idea of the performance differences. Its kind of funny to say this but this is the first we do it so you don't have to to find out channel that I actually impacts my decision making. The masonry bit comparison is especially useful. Often you are tasked with buying a certain bit for whatever reason. I know lots of people just buy brands out of loyalty to previous reliability but you can't help but ask why is this one 70% more expensive? Is there something this can do that this can't? Your tests evaluate real world applications of the numbers on the box and packaging. As someone said you're single handedly keeping these brands on their toes which in turn gets consumers the best quality products. Or lawsuits I guess. Amazing work.

Live this channel. This time the test platform is a hammer drill paired with competing masonry bits. I wonder if the results data profile were cater to this kind of drill? Will profile differ with a different test platform? Suggestion : try rotary (pneumatic) hammer with gentle push ballast free? I suspect that masonry bits are best fit for rotary hammer on long hall tasks. What do you think? If so try borrow a HILTI rotary hammer as test platform. For future test plan : - rotary hammers in different modes : rotary only / hammer only / rotary hammer mix. Which brand of masonry bits as test platform? Pick three candidates masonry bits out of this episode : best / mid / worst. Lastly, rebar proof masonry bit for future episode?

I ALWAYS!!!! Regret using bargain brand drill bits. This video shows Irwin, not really a bargain brand, are a good buy. For me, I need the drill bit to drill the most holes before it dies. This test also shows my experience with Bosch mason bits, they last a good while, but do not like the hard stuff. Ryobi, as usual, out performs it's reputation and the Diablo bits look nice. I have never seen the Diablo bits at lowes or HD, but I have many of thier cutting blades.

I wonder if the aggregate had more effect on the drill time than the age of the concrete. I didn't see what aggregate (if any) went into the new concrete mix, but the old stuff seemed to be mixed with quartz river rocks. Smooth crystal like that is a royal pain in the ass to drill through so that *may* add some unwanted variance to your tests.

I'm not sure if you've done a video on this but it would be Intresting to see how much torque different brand concrete screws and bolts take to mount flush to the surface in a clean hole. My thoughts being if for some reason one brands thread design takes noticeably less torque, then not only will it take less time to achieve... but it would also probably lessen cordless tool battery drainage.

One more test idea. I've used some good and some bad glass cleaners. When I owned a retail store, we had a glass guy come by to clean our windows. He used a soap/ammonia mixture in a large bucket, one of those window cleaners (looks a little like a paint roller), a towel and a squeegee. His results were amazing. For me, I've been using Windex Professional (purchased by the gallon), Invisible Glass and SprayWay. My better half also bought a special window towel from Norwex (MLM company) which is suppose to do as good a job with only water. Finally, when I worked for the government, we had an aerosol spray (works and smell like SprayWay) that was excellent. Can you do a video on window cleaners. I am curious to see the results. Thank you.

One final idea. I've been using boxed clay kits for many years. Mothers and Meguiars are the two that I've used. Recently, I bought some clay on Ebay - much less expensive than the boxed stuff. It seems to work as good or even better. My detailer told me about some expensive clay bars - he said they do less harm to the paint and work just as fast - he called them finer clays. He also told me about a clay towel and clay mitt. I have recently tried Mothers Speed Clay - it's a red plastic tool with rubberized clay on the bottom. I'd love to see a video testing the different types of clay (cheap, name brand and expensive fine clay), clay towel, clay mitt and Speed Clay to see which produces the best results and which causes damage to the paint. Love watching your videos. Thanks for taking time to make them!

Another idea for a test. There are some detailers who say that you must put a solid base coating of high grade car wax down and then put a spray coat on top. I've been using Seal N Shine for years, but the new Hybrid Solutions (green label) is my new go-to. Then a few months ago, Turtle Wax came out with a new Graphene Pro line. I just bought a bottle and I'm going to give it a try, but I don't have a good coat of wax underneath. Can you do a test to see if a good wax base makes a difference? Also, I'd like to see how Turtle Wax Graphene holds up against Hybrid Solutions and Seal N Shine for durability and gloss.

An idea for a test. I have some pretty bad hard water stains on the glass of my shower and car (sprinkler hits it). I've tried using vinegar - didn't work well. There are a lot of auto detailing products that claim to remove hard water spots. Then there's Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner, CLR and ZEP Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover. How about baking on some hard water stains, then using some products as well as home remedies to see which works the best. Also, it would be good to know which products can be used to remove water spots on car paint as well. Thanks.

This is a tip for drilling overhead. With a cup upside down drill a hole in the center of the bottom with the drill bit you plan to use. With the bit still in the cup you're ready to drill overhead. It'll catch the concrete dust as it falls before it gets in your eyes and makes a mess. Don't be afraid to tape it in place if you need too.
